  • Lakes Region Outright is determined to provide a safe and judgment-free zone for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning (LGBTQ) youth and friends or supporters of the community (ages 6 – 24).

  • PFLAG-NH is an international organization dedicated to the preservation of families in loving relationships, to the education of an ill-informed public about homosexuality, and to the attainment of full civil rights for gay, lesbian, transgender, and bisexual people and their families.

  • Seacoast Gay Men is a social group of gay men that meets every Monday night in Kittery, ME.

  • Seacoast Outright is an educational, social service, advocacy organization that offers services to gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, and questioning youth (21 and under) in the greater New Hampshire, southern Maine, and northern Massachusetts Seacoast region. Seacoast Outright’s mission is to help gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans and questioning youth develop into healthy, caring, productive citizens.

HIV/AIDS and Health Service Organizations

  • AIDS Response Seacoast is a non-profit, community-based HIV/AIDS Service organization dedicated to providing education, direct assistance and advocacy for persons and communities affected by HIV/AIDS.

  • The Southern NH HIV/AIDS Task Force works to increase the quality and availability of knowledge, services, and resources in all matters relating to HIV infection and AIDS to people in Southern NH regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation.

  • Help.org has created a guide to help the many residents of New Hampshire who are struggling with substance abuse and addiction to find affordable treatment that will put them on the path to recovery.

Recreational Organizations

  • Boston Pride works to enhance the visibility of Boston’s LGBT community through a week of events each June, in conjunction with year long activities, to promote LGBT awareness, dignity, and understanding.

  • Chiltern Mountain Club is an all-volunteer group that strives to create a relaxed environment for people to experience the outdoors together and bond as a community.

  • The Gay Outdoors represent active, outdoors-minded men who pursue an adventurous lifestyle.

  • Majestic Theatre Superb local theater company in Manchester, providing 15 full productions each season, including several dinner theater evenings.

  • The Merrimack Gay and Lesbian Bowling League meets at the Merrimack Ten Pin bowling alley 32 weeks each year (Wednesdays at 7pm), September – May.

  • New Hampshire Gay Men’s Chorus The NHGMC’s mission is to present quality entertainment, provide an opportunity for wholesome social interaction for our members, and present a positive image of the gay community in New Hampshire.

  • Pride Portland hosts a pride parade and festival on the third Saturday in June.
